Pink Sky

Just before I went to bed at 1am last night, I happened to look out the window. To my surprise, everything was basked in a soft pink glow! Combined with the snow, it was a beautiful sight. I would have taken a picture, but I was too tired =P

Unfortunately, the same thing does not seem to be happening tonight.

My mom said there's this saying that if the sky is pink then it will rain the next day. But I think it's if the sky is pink in the morning. Is 1am considered "morning"?? Haha, I guess technically it is. And it did snow a bit this morning.

One of the things on my "To Do Before I Die" list is to watch the sunrise and sunset. And I mean really watch it. Even if we wake up before it's light or get home after it's dark, we never really see the sunrise/sunset. Ideally it will be a romantic scene on a mountain top with my significant other....... lol ;)

Wow, new-found respect for these two! Their duet/quartet at TVB's 40th Anniversary Jade Singers Celebration was amazing! I would have voted for the male team based solely on this performance. ^_^

EO2 performed very well too. I love watching them dance. The "robot" dance was pretty cool as well. Jade + 2 other girls pole dancing on the other hand was..... o.O

Theresa Carpio has such a nice strong voice! Compare her to Janice who kept missing her cues or missing the mic...... haha, Alan Tam forgot his lyrics as well (what he's famous for =P) but I guess he's entitled ;)

There was a lot of arguing between Eric Tsang and Dodo Cheng, and it was funny to see Do 姐 speechless haha. Eric is so quick-witted, but he really needs to be careful of what he says sometimes. Speaking of which, it is rumoured that the Super Trio Show is making a come-back. Unfortunately, Jerry Lam is joining ATV, so he won't be able to host it =(

As for the actual awards ceremony, I'm so glad Moses won Best Actor! I haven't seen Heart of Greed yet, but "得得地" sounds like a great character for Moses to show off his acting skills. And he's adorable enough to win him Favourite Male Character as well!

Best actress of course went to Lee See Kei. I can't really say anything about her since I've only seen her in Kindred Spirit, but it's no surpise that she won. And since she won this one, obviously Susanna Kwan won Favourite Female Character for her role in Heart of Greed.

Best Improved Actor went to Amigo (ok?) while Best Improved Actress is Kate Tsui. She was annoying in "Men in Pain", so maybe that's why she's "improved"? But her outfit for the ceremony, I have to say, is absolutely HIDEOUS!!! Amigo is a good host and MC, but I didn't even know he's filmed any series. Chris Lai should have won, in my opinion.

Louis Yuen won Best Supporting Actor for, once again, Heart of Greed. Not sure what his character's like, but his acting is never disappointing, at least in comedic roles =P. Best Supporting Actress is Fala Chen, whom I have a bias against haha. She was rumoured to be the third party between Bosco and Myolie!!! lol.... she just annoys me, and she's definitely not as beautiful as everyone says she is. I'm not sure about her acting though, so maybe she did deserve the award. *shrug*

Best Series.... duh! Heart of Greed! What else?

Side note: I'm still so upset that Myolie didn't win for her role in War of In-Laws two years ago. She totally deserved that one. Hopefully she'll have better luck for the sequel!

Sex and the Beauties

Haha, I remember this scene. There was a cockroach in Athena's apartment and Edison tries to kill it but keeps missing. In order to make him feel more manly, Athena kills the roach and pretends that Edison did. "Oh look! You're amazing!" lol

They then proceed to give the roach a formal flushing down the toilet. They pay their respects with a solemn salute.

Obviously, the movie is weird. Athena falls in love with Benz Hui, who's voice can give her orgasms, and Edison (for obvious reasons =P). The catch is that these 2 men are actually father and son o.O

The scene when they find out was funny though. Edison started using all these 四字成語 and Benz was like, "When did your Chinese suddenly become so good?"

Anyways....

Pictures of Lucas Tse, Nicholas and Cecilia's son! People say he looks a lot like Nic, but I say he looks more like his grandfather.

Note: It is impossible to find a picture of 謝賢 in which he is not wearing sunglasses of some sort! He's the guy who played the antagonist in Shaolin Soccer.
