Keep Believing

Game 2 of the 2007 Stanley Cup Play-offs was played tonight and the Sens are losing the series 0-2. I'm kind of disappointed because they don't seem to be playing with the same skill as they have been for the rest of the play-offs. What's happening?? They're starting to look like the team that does well during the regular season but then struggles in the play-offs. Maybe it's the pressure of being in the finals. They made it through the first 3 rounds but now maybe the stress has caught up with them. Whatever it is, I hope they get their game together for Saturday. It's time for the Cup to come to Canada! GO SENS GO!!!

Thanks for the comments Chantal! ^_^

Green Scare

I was on the bus yesterday, looking out the window and daydreaming, when I felt a tingling on my left hand. I looked down and there was this lime green slug-like thing on me. I quickly flung it off; luckily no one was sitting beside me. It landed on the floor and started to crawl towards the person sitting in front of me. It kept lifting its head (??) up and it looked like all it had was a suction tube thing. Kinda gross =/

I have no idea how it got on me. I hope it didn't crawl up my shoe or something because that means it had to go all the way up my leg and across the purse I had on my lap to get to my hand. But then again I don't really want to think of it falling from the roof of the bus either.....

Well, at least now I know how my uncle felt when that caterpillar fell onto his shoulder =P

Past, Present, Future

I based the title of this blog on Susan Beth Pfeffer's book, "Life As We Knew It", which is a fictional story about how a family survives after a meteor hits Earth's moon and knocks it out of orbit. It's a really great book and every time I put it down I had to remind myself that I wasn't actually in the characters' situation. It was pretty effective in showing how quickly one's life can change. Cherish the present because you never know what's going to happen tomorrow.
